WITH GREAT PRIDE AND PASSION...

Unbelievably we have helped the region's developers and letting agents to let and dispose of more than 3.5 million sq ft of commercial property since we began. And we are still creatively adding to that total.

Meredith Thomas Public Relations PR was formed when Manchester began to emerge as a leading UK city with international aspirations and the North West as a whole was 'going for it'. It was a good time to be here. And it still is.

Highlights:

  • The renaissance of Piccadilly. Formative work on this project by Argent on One Piccadilly and Piccadilly Place. This included the award winning Poem for Manchester involving the Poet Laureate, Mick Hucknall of Simply Red, Denise Small of M People and Poet Lemn Sissay. A great team to work with and some great work to be proud of.
  • Grand Island, a trailblazer that opened up City South for the future. A project by British Gas Properties, this was the first international property campaign (in four languages) for the city and attracted The British Council. Now in its second evolution, the site is re-branded First Street developed by ASK.
  • Great Bridgewater for AMEC Developments – the commercial element next to Manchester International Concert Hall.
  • The reopening of the Royal Exchange for Prudential Portfolio Managers following the IRA bomb.
  • A decade of success following acquisition by MEPC of Birchwood Park in Warrington, one of the largest office parks in the region, to the present day. Small team, big results. 2009 Developer of The Year in the North West Insider Property Awards.
  • £350M deals for Lancashire based First Investments in two transactions and a wave of positive PR for the company and its MD Tim Knowles which positioned them as players on a national scale with a property portfolio which doubled in one year.
  • 82 King Street in Manchester for Friends Provident – a whole new lease of life for the former Bank of England as state of the art office space. We love it so much we have our offices there.
  • In Salford, The Anchorage, Exchange Quay, Waterfront 2000 and Regatta House.
